My Certificates Are Not Forged-Atiku

Former Vice President and 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed speculations concerning his secondary school certificate.
On Tuesday, Atiku's media aide, Chief Dele Momodu, clarified a discrepancy in Atiku's secondary school certificate. Momodu explained that despite appearances to the contrary, Atiku's certificate is legitimate. He described this in a post on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account on behalf of Atiku.

Some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) made allegations of forgery against Atiku. They questioned the validity of the name "Sadiq Abubakar" on his WAEC certificate, which made it necessary for him to clarify certain discrepancies in his credentials. Dele Momodu received the allegations and forwarded them to the former Vice President. In response to the accusations, Atiku explained that he used the name "Sadiq Abubakar" to sit for his WAEC exams. After passing them, he swore an affidavit to confirm that he is the same person as Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku Abubakar stated that he attended ABU under his real name and passed his exams under the same name. Additionally, he was interviewed by the Federal Civil Service Commission and hired into the Customs Service under his real name. Atiku questioned the APC social media bullies, asking them to circulate the many questions to their boss and receive an instant and direct response.
