Image
We do not have access to classified or current information regarding military patrols or security challenges confronting the transition arrangements.  . However, governments need to maintain unity and stability in their countries, especially during times of political transition. It is also important for governments to respect the rights and freedoms of their citizens, including the right to peaceful assembly and expression. Excessive or intimidating military presence can be counterproductive and may create tensions and fear among citizens. Governments need to strike a balance between maintaining security and respecting the rights of their citizens. Keyamo stated this on Wednesday at the valedictory Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.  Keyamo, who thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointment, criticised the limited role of ministers of state and the constraints they face in presenting their original ideas. Champions League: VAR should’ve checked – Arsene Wenger gives verdict on Man City’s goal vs Real Madrid.

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger blamed the video assistant officials for Manchester City's equalizer against Real Madrid in Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg. Wenger said the on-field officials would have needed more tools to check whether the ball went out. It was the duty of VAR to properly look at the situation while Real Madrid players were protesting.  Vinicius Junior put the Spanish giants in front earlier in the first half before Kevin de Bruyne equalized for the visitors at the Santiago Bernabeu. But the ball appeared to have gone out for throwing-in before the English champions scored their goal. Although Real Madrid players and manager Carlo Ancelotti called for a review, nothing was done. "The VAR normally should check if the goal is regular or not. In a situation like that, they have to intervene," Wenger said on beIN Sport. "They did not go far enough back to check if the ball was out or not, or they did not have the potential to pr
