SAD NEWS" Actor Yul Edochie loses first son

  Emerging reports indicate that Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has lost his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie. It was gathered that Yul’s first son was rushed to the hospital after falling unconscious. A source who spoke to Vanguard on anonymity revealed that Yul had confirmed Kambilichukwu’s death when this report was filed. May’s sister, who was at the scene, said the boy read throughout the night preparing for his exam today. After his exam in school,  he joined his mates to play football, and that’s when he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive, the report added. This is two months after Yul Edochie and his first wife, May, celebrated their first son and second child as he turned 16, showering encomiums and blessings on him.  My first son just turned 16. Report identifies cause of crude oil theft, By Odita Sunday, Abuja.

  The Special Investigative Panel on Oil Theft/Losses in Nigeria report was submitted to the National Security Adviser (NSA), Maj-Gen. Babagana Monguno (Rtd), on Monday, attributed the cause of crude oil racketeering to a lack of proper reporting of crude oil production, illegal refining, theft from the wellhead, and diversion from sophisticated pipelines network.  According to a statement signed by the Head, Strategic Communication, Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Mr. Zakari Usman, yesterday, the panel engaged critical stakeholders within and outside the oil and gas industry, including state governments, Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs); security agencies; regulatory agencies; international and indigenous oil companies; traditional institutions; host communities and artisanal refiners.  The statement also noted that, in discharging the panel's responsibility, it received and reviewed several memoranda and reports on oil theft and losses.   Ogun State police command, on Tuesday, revealed plans to use minimum force to arrest famous, controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a Portable. Recall that Portable had earlier on Tuesday, in a viral video on social media, resisted arrest by some police officers that stormed his restaurant in Ogun State, challenging them to know the reason for his arrest. Portable was seen in the video accusing the police of illegal arrest. "Show me your arrest warrant. Why did you come to my office to arrest people? You came, and everyone was running. You can recall that according to The Guardian news ,  Popular Nigerian music video director Clarence Peters has been detained by the Lagos State Police Command for questioning the sudden death of video vixen and choreographer Love Divine, popularly known as Kodak.   The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu has stepped aside as the chairman of the party. Ayu was replaced by the Deputy National Chairman, (North) Umar Iliya Damagum. Damagum will assume office as the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, pending the determination of the case in court. Recall that a High Court in Makurdi, the Benue state capital, had restrained embattled Ayu from parading himself as chairman of the party pending the determination of the substantive suit which has been adjourned to April 17, 2023, for hearing.
